HQ and Accommodation
Event registration, mandatory equipment checks, race briefing, and the start/finish will all occur at Race Headquarters (HQ). It is compulsory that all teams members attend the registration and briefing.
At registration you will receive the course notes, maps and important safety information for the event. You will then start planning your route and strategy.
Car parking, toilets and water will be also available at HQ.
The location of the HQ will not be disclosed until 1 week prior to the event.
The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s favourite tourist destinations, with people travelling from all over Australia and the world to enjoy the Sunshine Coast’s beautiful beaches and wonderful weather…..and what better place to host Australia’s first Female-only Adventure Race!!
The Sunshine Coast is 1 hour’s drive, north of Brisbane. The Headquarters for WWAR will be located within a 30 minute drive from Maroochydore.
The Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) airport is located only 10 minutes drive from Maroochydore. Jetstar and Virgin Blue provide daily flights directly from Melbourne and Sydney.
