Rules and Regulations

1. The course must be completed as given, without outside support and as a team.
2. Team members must be within 100m of each other at all times.
3. All directions given by race officials must be obeyed.
4. Items not permitted: any maps other than those provided by the organizers, GPS capable of displaying position reading.
5. Other race specific rules as listed in your course notes.
6. Out of bounds areas include private property, those areas marked on the maps and generally anywhere else the public is not permitted. Swimming across the rivers/waterways is NOT permitted. Additionally the Sunshine Coast Motorway is Out Of Bounds.
7. All pedestrian road rules MUST be obeyed.

Safety

Mobile phones are mandatory (see What to bring), however are ONLY to be used in the event of an accident or incident requiring assistance. You will be given contact phone numbers of the First Aid Office and HQ Race Official in your course notes.
