Coast Crusade

Coast Crusade is the Amazing Race of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.Starting in Mooloolaba, teams of 2 people, navigate their way through the Sunshine Coast suburbs collecting “Checkpoints” using the maps provided (minus street names of course).  They can run, walk or use public transport and there is no set course – teams must plan their own route.The aim of the game??  To collect as many “Checkpoints” as they can in 3 hours.  The team with the most number of points, WINS!

However, this urban adventure is not just a straight test of the fittest……..to add to the challenge, “Checkpoints” are assigned a value, depending on their degree of difficulty!!  The location of some “Checkpoints” are provided (on the map), whilst others may involve solving a cryptic clue to locate the “Checkpoint”.  In addition, some “Checkpoints” are challenges, that will test your physical and/or problem solving capabilities!

Good team work, strategy and an adventurous spirit are fundamentals in a successful Coast Crusade!
